They kick off the brunch with some warm and delicious cinnamon knots for the table. There is a preset menu with a couple of different options for both Mom and Daughter. My favorite are the napkin rings, which are actually hair ties with a pink bow for your daughter. They even supply a cup, plate and place-mat for each doll at the table. They escort you to your table where they attach doll chairs to the table for each and every doll. (Note, if you forget your doll they have loner dolls for you to borrow.) The hostess provided “Happy Birthday” party hats for both the girls and their dolls. Our day at the store began with a lovely brunch for us and the dolls we brought. This year my daughter choose an excursion with her bestie to the American Girl doll store. Every year I give my children the option to either have a birthday party or a birthday excursion with a bestie. The American Girl store in Los Angeles at The Grove, is the best location to celebrate a birthday excursion outside the OC bubble. It may not be close to South Orange County, but it is certainly worth the drive.
